5 Vegetable Smoothies That Taste Amazing

Now that it is 45 degrees smoothie bowls are back in season.  They are easy to make, which makes them the perfect breakfast but, this one is pretty interesting.

1. Cauliflower smoothie bowl

Recipe from www.onegreenplanet.org.

1 1/2 cups frozen cauliflower florets

1/4 cup frozen avocado

1 1/2 cups blueberries (not frozen)

2 tablespoons vegan vanilla protein powder

1 1/2 cups non-dairy milk

1/4 teaspoon vanilla bean powder

1 heaped tablespoon almond or peanut butter

Toppings: hemp seeds, blueberries, almond or peanut butter drizzle, coconut flakes

Blend and add into a large bowl, serve and enjoy.

2. Wild Blueberry Smoothie

We all love the crunch of celery, but in a smoothie it does wonders! Slightly salty and a little bit tangy, it adds great anti-inflammatory and antioxidant benefits. Paired with blueberry, this drink becomes a low glycemic, low calorie, power-packed drink you can enjoy any time of day. (As you can see I love blueberries.)

This recipe is from www.nutriliving.com.

1 Cup Spinach

½ Stalk Celery

½ Cup Wild Blueberries, frozen

½   Banana

½   Lime, juiced

½ Inch Ginger

¼ Teaspoon Turmeric

1 ½ Cups Coconut Water

Add all of the ingredients into your Tall Cup and extract for 30 seconds, or until smooth.

Enjoy!

3. Berry Lettuce Smoothie

The Add-ons

1 teaspoon coconut oil

1 serving of your favorite green superfood powder

1 serving of your preferred protein powder

Show Time

Place all the ingredients into your high-speed blender and blend for around 30-45 seconds or until nice and smooth.
